BBC iPlayer Desktop launches with no window on OS X

Problem : BBC iPlayer Desktop application launches but doesn’t display the downloads window. Selecting About BBC iPlayer Desktop shows only a blank window

Fix : Delete the following folder ~/Library/Application Support/AIR/ELS/BBCiPlayerDesktop.(string of numbers and letters here)

Note: ~ means your home folder, so Macintosh HD/Users/(your home folder)
