Open .wps Microsoft Works Files on Mac OS X

If you’ve switched to a Mac and find that even Microsoft Office 2003, Office 2008 or Office 2011 are unable to open your old .wps Microsoft Works files reliably, download and install LibreOffice.

To set LibreOffice as the default application to open a .wps file, select a .wps file, go to the File menu > Get Info > Expand the ‘Open With’ section > select LibreOffice and click on ‘Change All’
